Effectively and ethically develop direct the implementation of the medical affairs strategy for Sandoz’s oncology biosimilar franchise by:

  • Driving the medical affairs strategy in support of the oncology biosimilar franchise, including the first US approved biosimilar -– Zarxio®
  • Educating the medical and scientific community and sharing scientific expertise
  • Establishing strong professional relationships with key stakeholders
  • Providing medical subject-matter expertise nationally in support of oncology product
  • Collaborating closely with global medical affairs and the commercial organization

Minimum Requirements:


  • MD highly preferred. DO, PhD and PharmD considered
  • MBA or additional graduate degree preferred
  • Board certification in Hematology and/or Oncology preferred


  • A minimum of 6 years of pharmaceutical industry experience required
  • Strong background in oncology is highly preferred
  • Historic clinical practice in oncology is highly preferred
  • Effectively present scientific and medical information before large and small audiences
  • Translate complex scientific/medical concepts to audiences with differing scientific and technical knowledge
  • Implement late-stage clinical development
  • Capable manager
  • Deep practical knowledge of Good Clinical Practices and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to establish productive and compliant professional relationships with key opinion leaders and medical/scientific professional societies
  • Team player in a multidisciplinary, cross-cultural environment, high level of flexibility
  • High attention to detail; Innovative, creative and critical thinking
  • Problem solver
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office; MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
