Ensuring adequate and appropriate market availability of Lilly Oncology product to patients is critical. To achieve success, we seek a National Account Manager-Oncology Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) to nurture and maintain a strong business relationship with two GPO s. Are you experienced in establishing key relationships with targeted accounts to identify and address customer critical needs? Do you have experience influencing the customer decision process? Is implementing and delivering brand value messages and interventions to address customer needs a key strength? If you said Yes , then we have the role for you.
In this role, you will own the associated contracting activities aligned with internal business process, collaborate closely with Managed Healthcare Services Contract Management and Analytics (CMA) and Contract Administration (CA) organizations in addition to the Oncology Business Unit (OBU). You will work with respective brand team(s), Regional Account Managers (RAMs)/National Account Management teams, GPO/Trade Accounts, and consult with business partners in U.S. distribution, manufacturing, and legal areas. You will maintain and track pathway changes for US Oncology as it relates to the OBU portfolio of products. You will coordinate and communicate GPO strategies and tactics with RAMs. Additional responsibilities may include:
  • Gain and maintain access for Lilly products with contracted GPO accounts
  • Develop internal champions within the GPO channel to advocate for access to Lilly products and support of our contracts
  • Drive Lilly brand sales growth and appropriate utilization within GPO channel, appropriately utilizing the GPO channel to improve OBU portfolio sales
  • Develop and pull through new initiatives to drive GPO performance
  • Monitor and approve all additions to the GPO account list, rebate payouts, admin fees, and ensure all EMR systems are updated with the latest Lilly information
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 5+ years experience in account management with Regional and/or National Accounts
  • Minimum 2+ years working with oncology or relevant specialty experience
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position.
Additional Information
  • Travel > 60% and may include weekend travel/evening programs
  • Ideally located near a major airport with access to direct flight to Texas, Californian and Indiana with additional travel to key accounts in US

  • Knowledge of legal/regulatory policies surrounding customer capabilities/needs and the oncology market place
  • Strong knowledge of the Healthcare marketplace across all segments, and including respective segment strategies
