Job Description

OBJECTIVES:

Takeda US Oncology Business Unit (OBU) is searching for an innovative, technical, and quantitative individual to join the Business Insights team to lead Analytics and Reporting.

Reporting to the Director of Decision Support, this candidate will have the unique opportunity to design and implement significant transformation of the use of CRM across all functions. This high visibility role will be responsible for working across the US Oncology Business unit to develop an overarching CRM strategy, integrating, and expanding the commercial application of big data, analytics, marketing automation, and Veeva CRM (SFDC). The desired candidate for this role will possess a deep understanding of the Salesforce.com and VEEVA capabilities and limitations, a clear vision for how Sales, Market Access, Marketing and Medical needs can be compliantly addressed and a track record of innovation and expert collaboration. Seeking a solutions-oriented, highly passionate, team player to lead the US OBU into the next generation of CRM analytics.

This position works closely with the US Business Insights team, field based teams, IT and other stakeholders to support strategic and tactical decision-making through the development and operations of a cutting edge CRM tool that informs key issues and customer needs

The candidate must maintain compliance with all policies and procedures, such as Legal, Finance, Privacy, and Pharmacovilance.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Champion for the evolution and expanded use of the CRM system across US Oncology Business Unit
    • Identify, consolidate, and rationalize ongoing CRM and innovation initiatives
    • Accountable for existing CRM functionalities and solutions to bridge gaps brand team needs
    • Provide guidance on approaches, processes, algorithms, and tools that support the analytics visualization and decision support needs across US OBU
    • Navigate across IT, Business Insights and the Field to ensure consistent and reliable operations
    • Partner with key stakeholders to provide self service, geography specific access to trends, preferences, and engagement insights across providers, facilities, market segments, etc

  • Implement new and innovative solutions across personal and non-personal channels to deliver a relevant, targeted, and personalized customer experience
    • Improve salesforce effectiveness and promotional response thorugh predictive modeling and other real world/real time data approaches
    • Devise insight strategies across all business areas and products in order to plan, develop, and executive effective campaigns
    • Lead analytical discussions with business leaders around the art of the possible using fully enabled CRM offering
    • Implement machine learning techniques to assist with HCP targeting efforts
    • Conduct sessions to develop awareness of new capabilities among other Business Insights and Analytics teams

  • Leverage data analytics and research to discover growth opportunities across the customer journey, and develops CRM strategies to better retain and deepen HCP relationships
    • Develop hypothesis, design and execute system design/reporting to identify appropriate approaches to operationalize tactics that ladder to brand strategies & key questions
    • Provide thought leadership on analytical use case development, lead analytics ideation workshops and validate model builds,
    • Bring clarity to ambiguous business issues using a structured, hypothesis-driven problem-solving
  • Responsible for development of headquarter, Field leadership and individual level dashboards, ad-hoc analysis, and KPI reporting

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • BS/MS degree in Business, Computer Science, Mathematics or Information Systems degree (major or minor)
  • Minimum of 5+ years experience in digital/CRM/or agency experience with a commercial focus, including digital strategy and digital analytics
  • Demonstrable track record of success in delivering strategies within CRM, customer insights, patient journey, and analytics to drive commercial growth and brand awareness
  • Expert understanding of the technical and compliance aspects of interactive marketing strategy and database management
  • Experience in generating commercial insights from large transactional data sets, including medical Claims and Specialty Pharmacy data
  • Proven ability to understand and influence strategy across multiple stakeholders to take action based on analytics and insights
  • Experience of delivering data driven cultural change initiatives
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work effectively with changing priorities with multiple, time sensitive priorities
  • Interest to learn and pioneer technology and analytics adoption in life sciences space

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills across a wide range of business issues (e.g. sales, marketing, operations, medical affairs, market access, etc.)
  • Broad expertise in developing computing strategies for statistical analysis & reporting
  • Outstanding technical and analytic skills, proficient at understanding and conceptualizing business problems and implementing analytic or decision support solutions
  • Complete understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, application and working knowledge of marketing analytics, sales analytics, decision science, and quantitative market research
  • Understands software development methodologies and appropriately applies those methodologies
  • Proficient with analysis tools and methods, structure decision making and decision support approaches
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment, including external vendors
  • Ability to thrive under tight deadline and work confidently amidst ambiguity and uncertainty
  • Able to set priorities, develop and manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously
  • Exceptional ability to clearly communicate ideas and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Ability to work a computer for extended periods of time

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 10%, more as needed for specific business
