This role will be responsible for the brolucizumab patient marketing strategy which includes ownership for patient education and awareness communications, and the planning for patient support and engagement programs.
Creates patient marketing strategy with the optimal combination of messages, educa-tion, and support delivered through the channels that best connect with the nAMD pa-tient audience.
Develop patient focused campaign messages, materials and support tools
Demonstrate passion for understanding patient needs and insights, and the role of pa-tient communications and support as a critical part of the overall brand communication and marketing mix strategy.
Develop patient segmentation model that guides activities
Measures, evaluates, and adapts activities based on ongoing learning and assessment.
Partners closely with the digital marketing group to develop a digital strategy that rec-ognizes the challenges and opportunities of connecting with the nAMD patient audi-ence.
Leads the external agency relationship to ensure alignment to strategy and delivery of programs in a timely and compliant manner.
Hires, coaches and develops Sr. Brand Manager(s)
Provides team and brand leadership as a member of the marketing leadership team
Works cross functionally with other key partners to review, update marketing competen-cies and ensure consistency with required skills.

Education Minimum University degree
Desirable: MBA or a professional qualification
Experience: 5+ years in Pharmaceutical or Healthcare Marketing, ideally focused in the area of consumer/patient mar-keting
Developed new campaigns through all stages from concept to implementation
People leadership with proven ability to coach and develop others for high performance and success
Have worked in cross functional, matrixed environ-ments with demonstrated success in delivering re-sults through collaboration.
Led relationships and provided clear direction to ex-ternal agency partners
Experience launching a new molecule in a competi-tive market a key asset
Experience in Ophthalmology and knowledge of the Retina sub-specialty preferred
